Having strong doctor/patient relationships is one of the most important ways to ensure that your practice is successful – here at Tralongo LLC, our goal is to help you improve and grow your practice.
Establishing a rapport with your client builds a strong bond and trust between the patient and the doctor, this also encourages loyalty with patients and will only benefit your practice.
Always make sure you make your patients feel comfortable and feel like they are being taken care of. One of the most important aspects of choosing a dentist is having that personal connection and building that element of trust. Ther are a few ways you can continue to strengthen relationships with your current patients and at the same time building new relationships withy our new patients.
- Be nice – Sounds like an obvious thing to do right? Well, believe it or not, one of the most common reasons why a potential patient goes to another practice is because of a rude staff member! No one wants to do business with cranky people – at the end of the day they are trusting you with their health so be nice. Have your staff answer the phone in the nicest way, most of the calls that come in will be the first time making contact with your business so you don’t want to turn patients away because someone had a bad day!
- Be relatable – All dentists should be making patients feel comfortable and having that element of trust. Just be yourself and be genuine with your patients, make them feel they are in good hands and your business will benefit from that. Your staff can play a big part in building relationships with patients, but the stronger the relationship is with the dentist, the better.
- Follow up, Follow up, Follow up! – Here at Tralongo LLC, we can’t stress enough how important it is to follow up with patients. When you follow up with your patients, you are not only making sure they are feeling comfortable, or doing it for legal reasons, but you are building that trust and relationship while doing it. The fact is that you DO care for your patients and you want to know everything went well, if they are doing ok or if they need anything, so reach out to them and let them know that! They will not only appreciate it, but they will mention it to other people and bring more business to your practice!
