SUNRISE, Fla. (Feb. 20, 2018)Dental Whale, a firm specializing in dental practice support services, signed an official partnership with Dr. Chris Oliver, DMD. The agreement will assist Dr. Oliver in creating and growing a network of dental practices across South Carolina.

As a Dental Whale partner, Dr. Oliver hopes to expand his network with 20 acquisitions and de novos in order to reach more patients in South Carolina. Dr. Oliver can draw from the many services provided by Dental Whale’s subsidiary companies to help him achieve his goals. The subsidiary companies include:

  • the largest dental repair franchise in North America
  • dental marketing company
  • dental practice brokerage firm
  • national dental group practice
  • dental mergers and acquisitions consulting company
  • dental de novo consulting company

“I attended a Dental Whale Discovery Day, which was informative and exciting,” Dr. Oliver said. “I find Dental Whale’s administrative services and consulting particularly helpful. We’re more efficient now, so we’re increasing revenue and lowering our overhead. The increased capital is setting the stage for us to expand.”

Dr. Oliver earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1991 and his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2002 from Oregon State University. He opened his first practice in 2004 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He then moved to Charleston, South Carolina, where he now owns two practices – one in Charleston and one in Columbia. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the South Carolina Dental Association. He recently went on a service trip to the Dominican Republic as part of a dental implant course, where he performed about 20 dental procedures at no charge.

“Dr. Oliver is a wonderful addition to our constantly growing family of dentist entrepreneurs,” Dental Whale co-founder Dr. Scott Leune said. “Our mission is to help dentists take their knowledge of dentistry and apply it to their entrepreneurial objectives. With our acquisition process, de novo program and offering of support services, Dr. Oliver will be well on his way to expanding his group of dental practices and patient care across South Carolina.”
